New LRP Flow Esc
#288
Used the LRP FLow Team Works last 2 weeks in 17.5 blinky with surprisingly great results. Very linear throttle and strong brakes. Have tried everything with X12 motors, but nothing could get them to be highly competitive in stock blinky.

TC Mod? We run a large outdoor track and my SXX and X12 liked to be around 160 and 180 respectfully. 125 and 130 are just barely putting any load on those.

I'm having problems updating my Flow to ver 5 stock mode.
I download the firmware and the software from the LRP web site and when I plug in the USB bridge (spec 2) the blue l.e.d. on the bridge starts blinking. According to the bridge instructions it is suppose to turn on (not blink) after it has seen the driver file. It does try to find the driver file and when it fails it asks me 'to insert the disc that came with your LRP bridge'. There is no disc.
I think there is a problem with the bridge because as soon as I plug it in it starts blinking and there'd nothing in the instructions that mentions that.
ANYBODY !! ... please help ...

The driver is downloaded as part of the software. If Windows can't locate a driver automatically it will prompt you to insert a disc, when this screen appears you should get the option to browse to the location of the driver file, do this and following the prompts and you should be ok to install the driver.
Getting it to work might be harder.
If you’re not running XP (but you are ruing Vista/7/8) you need too much around with setting the .exe files to run in compatibility mode (I would suggest WinXP) and make sure you run it with administrator privileges.
To confirm the Bridge2 is working try it on another computer.
Good Luck

What version of Windows are you running? I had trouble with getting it to work on 7 but everything was fine on XP.

Thanks for the reply !!
I tried running it on Vista and then on XP. On both computers the bridge starts blinking immediately when I plug it in which according to the instructions should not happen. On the computer with XP it doesn't even look for a driver file. No windows come up.
I'm at a total loss here, anyways thanks again.

LRP USB Bridge
I had problem with USB Bridge before using Windows 7 (64 bit)
What was wrong is when plugged in the USB the windows automatically installed wrong driver in the system. Goto control panel and check your hardware driver, check on the USB bridge and reponit the driver directory to program files/LRP Firmware Update Tool 2.0/ and you should get your driver install correctly.
Before you do that, install the Update tool software first
