Coolio.

I'm thinking about purchasing this ESC for my 1/12th scale pan car.
Is it a good ESC for a 1cell battery (i will be running 10.5T boosted) without any kind of booster or receiver pack?
Does it need other software updates and how am i able to upload software?
Currently i'm using a hobbywing 1S ESC and very pleased about it in my RM-01 but as this is my second 1/12th scale pan car and it doesn't have that much space to mount the hobbywing 1S esc i'm thinking of buying one of this.
Any advice is welcome.

don't know about 1 cell, I run on 2 cell lipo, no booster in my b4.2 or glitching, updates online at LRP's website, you need a usb bridge 2 you can buy online to update. I like it because you can change the settings right at the track with no added electronics, gauges, etc.

I run without the fan for blinky and haven't had any problems.

The Flow does not have a built in booster so you need to add a booster or RX pack. Most of the UK 12th scale A finalists use the RC Dynamics booster.

I use the nosram version with my flow. They're compatible either way.

I was hoping that the flow esc shouldn't need a voltage booster or a receiver pack cause i wanted a smaller ESC then my hobbywing 1s esc.
This because of saving space on the chassis for a neat installation of the electronics.
But i guess it's better to use the hobbywing as this will need less space then the flow with a voltage booster.
Thx anyway for the info.
