Great VX update with the Ver 3.3 software! Fantastic overall performance, resulting in improved brakes and slightly cooler motor temps. Appreciate the support with this superb product!!!

Will that giv a bit more bottom end? Maybe also change fdr to 6.6

This was with 2 long straights being +/- 45m - 55m
I will try your settings on the shorter track which will give me more bottom end if I'm not mistaken

also double check the timing on the motor. some motor have a build in timing at 0. the overall timing on the motor should be between 5 and 10 deg.
otherwise it will over heat very quickly and less bottom end power

Can anyone recommend a setup for LRP 4.5 on low-med asphalt small track?

Thanks

I was planning on running blinky with the punch at 4...

The d3.5 has built in timing of 30deg. I had the motor on 10 which totals 40deg. I normally come off at 65-70 degC.

Really odd today in the Mains with my VX ESC. On the 5th lap my ESC all off a sudden lost top end. It was on a slow crawl on full throttle. I turned off the ESC & turned it back on & it was back to normal. Any ideas?
thx-John

John (DJG)

I have not heard of any of that happening with the speedo's. Ive been running them for a year and not had any issues. Ive had a couple people hit a wall really hard (Like end of the straight away head on) and the speedo quit all together but thats about it.

Did it work fine after you cut it off and back on?

One of my ORCA casing had cracked. I was wondering if it's possible to buy top and bottom casing for a little repair ?
