What is your email and I can send it to you. I see your in London so it may not matter but the new software is NOT ROAR approved yet. ROAR is without anyone to do the software testing at the moment so we are not sure when the VXX or the 3.3 software will be ROAR legal.

Default Problem!

Orca VX, was working. Tried to change settings: Plugged the program box in, it is frozen with a message "Loading...". Plugged the esc back into the RX. Steering works but no throttle. Tried to reset with full reverse, then power on ESC. Nothing. Plugged back into program box, frozen with same message: "Loading..." what do I do???

Hey TEM,

The cable that plugs into the orca program box. make sure you have the cable hooked up right . I had a similar issue and I traced it to me having the cable plugged in backwards.

hope this helps.

Mike, thanks for your response! It turns out to be a faulty sensor wire connection. A friend of mine suggests removing the motor. Seemed to work afterwards. Traced it to the sensor wire.

Can you give me an ideal what and how set my VX esc..my motor is 6.5 not 4.5 motor..Thanks
PS I think devin also said something about cutting down the motor power..

Replied back Jason. Im not the best at helping with the updates...Im computer illiterate unless its a MAC! LOL

When updating speedos there are 4 versions of 3.3 software. VXX, VX, VX-1, and Spark. If you load the wrong one it can cause loading and program issues.

How hot do these speedos run? Its my second time using it and it temped at 140 deg F. No fan on esc with a 13.5 95deg ambient temp. Is that normal? Needless to say, I popped on the fan for subsequent runs.

Hi All,

What are the main differences between the VX and VXX. Which one would you recommend for a TC? I tried looking for more info on the official website but that didn't help much unfortunately.

Thanks.

this is from EA:
The biggest place anyone will notice a difference with the new speedo is in Modified. It has a larger heat sink so that it will run cooler when running more aggressive timing profiles. The brakes are improved also through the software.

For stock, EA mentioned that either will be fine.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. How would you guys rate the VXX against the LRP Flow, HW 3.1 etc. Essentially i would like to get the best possible ESC and this one seems promising at this stage.

Reese Bobby: I recently sold my new LRP Flow Works Team to stay with the ORCA (VX Competition model) and am very pleased. Extremely smooth, delivers great power, reliable, easy to change individual settings with handheld Program Card, and electronics (motor & ESC) run slightly cooler. Hope this is helpful.

EA: Thanks for the ESC update, both the Program Card and ESC were very simple to update. Can't wait to use V3.3 at the track!
