Hi,

I downloaded the rar file from the website.
I downloaded the bin file from the website.
I extracted the file using 7-zip (www.7-zip.org). In my case I use the 64-bit version.
I installed the program.
I inserted the USB updater.
I connected the sensor wire to the ESC and then searched for the updated bin file
I then updated the ESC.

Hope this helps. I have updated many ESCs this way - it should work out for you.

Regards,
Ian

Yes - the USB adapter is used to update the ESC and the programmer box.

Ian

When you plug in the USB to the computer, do you need to power the speedo?

When updating the ESC - you plug the sensor wire from the ESC to the USB updater and then to your computer. That will provide the power for the speedo.

From the Update program on your computer, it will show the current version of the ESC if all is connected properly.

You do not need to power the speedo with a battery for the update.

Regards,
Ian
