what settings do you find yourself adjusting the most in 17.5 blinky with this esc?

Switching from the Orion I am constantly changing the brakes trying to find a comfortable setting. They seem to be so different from my Orion.

Couple of questions;

Does the vx1 work in two cell mode and if so could i expect it to work the same as a vx?

Secondly, does the vx work in single cell mode with a booster?

Looking to buy three escs for indoors. Want to simplify things.

I just bought an Orca VX Competition V3.0 ESC and Orca V3.0 program box.
However when I connect the program box to the ESC the program box keeps displaying 'loading'. It basically gets stuck and never continues to show the settings.

Does anyone know what would be causing the issue?. Maybe they don't have the same firmware, or just DOA?. The ESC works really well, only now I can't adjust any settings which kind off sucks.

VX1 will work on 2s with 17.5/13.5 blinky mode
VX will work on 1s with booster, but not recommended as the BEC circuitry is not design for it.

Timing start:10%
timing:36
Timing interval:0
Turbo timing:56~58

I believe they works the same! But make sure don't use the VX1 for your mod TC

Hello DS Motorsport,

I had the same problem. I had the connector cable hook up the wrong way Lol... had it backwards. So check your cable connections.

Black wire is C (-) Red wire is E (+) and White wire is B (s)

Hope this helps
Mike

Looking to purchase a new speedo. I have decided to stay away from lrp due to reading all the issues and people sending them back for repair. I have narrowed it down between the hobbywing and the orca. How do the two compare? Thanks.

I can not comment on the new HW Speedo as I have not ran one of those. But the ORCA's I have been running since the IIC last year. They are small and fairly light for their size. All software for all classes is built in. There is no need for a computer to load blinky, boosted or modified software on the speedo like the HW used to be (Not sure if this is changed on their new one or not). Every adjustment is in the hand held programmer that is a breeze to use. It comes with the Factory spec cap and a fan included in the box.

LMK if I can help you anymore or you have more questions. Either PM here or [email protected]

Thanks
EA
