How do these speedos compare to the tekins? Looking to possibly purchase a new speedo for 17.5 blinky in tc.

any ESC set-up you can recommend for 13.5T boosted class?
- running T3 with 13.5T RX2 motor
- tropical climate
- low to mid grip track (only slightly technical layout)
- roughly 85 ft straight

I find the throttle much more linear and smooth...not an on off switch. It also has great mid range feel too. Top speed is all the same in blinky. Easier to adjust with the program box and no computer needed. I have zero complaints about mine. I was running them long before I started selling them here in the US.

Additionally - the speedo has excellent brakes, no-brake fade even with faster motors. My stuff generally runs cooler.

you need to connect the USB adaptor to the sensor connection on the ESC with a sensor cable.
everything else is the same

Hi Stikman,
Just found it yesterday after searching a bit.
Itīs a long time I do not touch my rc stuff (got married last year) so I am a bit rusty on it.
Now everything is V3.0, program box and esc.
By the way it is not the sensor cable, it is the esc cable connection to the receiver isnīt it? At least it was what I used.
Now another one, any set up for 10.5 X20 LRP motor?
I saw that the manual got a table with possible set ups, can I work with those settings?

Probably going to be hard to find a used one around here. Most that have bought them love them thus far. I havent had one person email me back unhappy with them yet.

Hi,

I have looked everywhere for a 13.5 boosted set up with the new V3 but cannot find anything (Only Mod and 17.5) Can EA or anyone post one please.

I am very happy with the Speedo but want to make sure I am getting the best out of it.
I race in the UK and am using indoors on carpet.

Any help much appreciated

I cant post one. We dont run boosted anywhere in the US anymore so we wont be of much help. Hopefully someone from over there that does can chime in and help you out.

My suggestion for getting started is that if your motor is not getting hot then just keep adding timing to make it faster until either the lap times stop improving or the motor starts getting too hot and fading.

Thanks for quick response EA

It dosen't get that hot (60deg c) - so could increase the timing.

If any UK drivers can help would be much appreciated.

Are you close to the same settings as the 17.5 setups youve seen? Perhaps Andrew Hardman may have a decent starting point for 13.5. I'll see if I can get him to get on here for you.
