Shouldn't this have said V3?

Now my V2.2 is no longer allowed at my track....I hope they will change this soon..
YES this should read V3 on the ROAR list. Look for this to be corrected tomorrow.

Default Performance differences between V2.2 and V3 firmware

Those whom have tested both versions, your input/opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Any differences with the brakes?

Thanks.

Default v3?

I just looked at orcarc.com website for v3 download.

I must be blind as I don't see it anywhere.

So, what am I missing here?

Thanks,
Darrald

The software is not up on the site yet. Keith is away in Japan for a few weeks so it will probably be when he gets back before the site gets updated.

Default V3 download

Guys:

I installed V3 firmware within the programmer card and the ESC today. Everything worked fine when installing the firmware within the programmer card, but when attempting to install the firmware within the ESC, I got an error message even though it the install seemed complete. The error message had something to do with asking me to plug in the ESC...somehow the connection was, allegedly, lost.

In any case, I unplugged the ESC and re-plugged it and the USB link software indicated that the firmware was indeed V3 and everything OK. I scrolled through all the menus and everything seems fine.

Question:

Has this been experienced before? Should I re-flash the firmware just in case? Can I re-flash it?

Appreciate everyone's support!!

Should be fine, just try it.

It will either work perfectly or just don't, no halfway.

Really like the new program card menus and functions, brakes seems smoother too, can't test much more at 3AM.

The setup guide available at OrcaRC.com is great too with good base setups for 5.5 to 17.5.

I'm happy, that's some great work.

you can re-flash to the older version then again to the new version if you want to. it will not re-flash the same version.

also some new function on V3.0

you can read off the ESC after the run: max RPM, Lowest Voltage, and ESC temp

It would seem that V3 brake freq goes from 1K to 4K, thus the 700 is not an option?

Thanks!

Try the 1k brakes, 1k most aggressive 4k less

Be running mine in Boosted 17.5 Friday night
Run the Arc R10, Orca 4500 shorty, Vx V3 and D3.5 17.5
Already have a Base setup and ill see how it goes
