Default Problem with a hobbywing/novak ballistic setup

I use a hobbywing 150a, novak ballistic 4.5t, cc bec and hobbywing capisators

Here is my problem in the short version.
From a standstill ther is a lag before it hits full power (0,5sec or so)

If the car is moving it is not that bad.

I have tried evry adjustment there is and can not figure this out

Help plase

sounds like cogging try twisting your three motor wires around each other then connect to motor this sometimes helps with cogging but not all the time, tis just a suggestion

The motor is sensored it should not be cogging

What ESC settings are you using ?

I would check the order of the ABC wires

Cheers

One other thing is whether or not your battery can keep up.

I've been told to set the low voltage cutoff to 6.1 custom. And they will get rid of any low speed cogging.

Good luck

It is not cogging, more of a lag in response...

The battery is turnigy nanotech 6000mah 65-130c, and it worked fine with the novak esc that whent up in smoke........

Using the blue 150a xerun esc.

The abc wires are in connected rigth, if i change them arond it gets worse....

And i have a new sensor wire

The esc works just fine with the tenshock 401 5600kv...

I have just about tried every adjustment possible....

This is what it works best with

Drag brake 0
Cut off 3.2v
Punch level 5
Brake force 50%
Reverse force 50%
Neutral range 9%
Timing 15
Motor rotation cc

Thanks...

Does the ESC calibrate correctly with your transmitter ?

How much mechanical timing do you have on the motor ?

I would turn off the timing and set punch at max

Assume you are using good batteries ?

Cheers

It calibrates correctly, works fine with other motors.

Mecanical timing seems to be best around 15 or so.

Will try and adjust some more and even try another esc from my 1/8 buggy

Thanks...

Just a thought...do you have any radio settings that might be causing the problem? Negative EXP? Speed setting?

You may also want to look into your capacitors. They store the initial "punch" charge.

Set the low voltage cutoff at 6.1 custom and give it a try. It's worth a try.
