The differences are just that some allow timing and boost and the others don't, I am not sure on all the number since I just started running the Brushless Hobbies ESC's but I do know that 508 is a mod firmware and should not be ran with any timing or boost when used with Tekin Pro 4 or Tenshock 411 motors ( per Stan recommendations) I really dont ever use any boost anyways. I ran 503 with a Tenshock 411 in a SCRT10 and it was blistering fast cant wait to get it into my SC10 4x4

Also has anyone tried to get this to fit in a B4.1? The only way I can get the body on is by removing the fan. Im geared pretty conservatively where my temps are usually in the 120's so im not to worried about it getting to hot. I will keep an eye on the temps just to be safe though.

Lost an old castle esc due to old age the other day and these got my attention for the price and the reviews. Which one would be best suited to my SCB? The 120 or 80?

I vote 120a. Only because if you sell the SCB, you can use the 120a in bigger cars Plus the price difference is negligible so why not get the 120a at that point??

Sell my SCB!? Never! Lol!! That's what I thought but I figured I'd get a few suggestions. Sometimes when it's feelin funky, i pop in a 7700 and blast up the gnarliest hills I can find then put a 10 turn in and dominate the off road circuit. I just want to be able to keep that on and off track ability that makes the SCB so sweet to me.
