Is there anyway to get rid of the crazy amount of drag brakes in this thing? I have them set to zero and when i lift off the throttle it doesn't roll like an LRP speedo.

It feels like it has way more drag brakes than it should.

This option reproduces the behaviour of the V.2.1, the turbo only switches on when the throttle is 100% and the delay is consumed.

If you turn this option to no, I suppose it will allow the turbo to switch on even the throttle is not at 100%...

No it doesn't

"Boost Controlled by Throttle

This setting is a limit for the boost timing addition, in relation to the throttle position, which can aid car stability whilst on throttle. If enabled, the ESC will monitor the throttle position and Motor RPM, and limit the maximum amount of available boost timing.

E.g. If the boost timing is set to 36 points and the boost end RPM setting has been achieved, but the throttle position is only 50%, then only 32 points (50% of 64 points) of boost will be applied. "

turning it off there is no limit to the boost applied at any given throttle position.

check the link software it explains each setting in the bar to the right

I haven't noticed too much drag brake in mine, I have it set to 10% and it feels fine to me but I've never run an LRP to compare it to.

larry i notice it. The only thing I can sugguest you do is like youve already done, and put the drag brake to 0 and also put the initial brake brake setting to equal drag brake. i know it sounds weird but its almost as if the brakes engage under neutral throttle if you have any initial brake in the speedo at all. Thats what i run and it works pretty good for me. Still doesnt roll as much as the lrp, but it will give you a better result.

btw u going to vegas?

Try reducing turbo disangage. It should help.

Both Adam and I have noticed it and I have sold mine as a result. Plain and simple it needs to be fixed and until it does I will steer clear of this ESC for stock racing. I love the design, but on the track it does not feel quite right to me!

In mod I bet it works just fine...

Hi guys

it has come to my attention about a company called Aliepress in china supplying a copy version of the 2.1v but calling it the v3 under the brand hobbypower .

First it's a copy of the 2.1v 120 amp second we have no connection with the branding hobbypower .

So dont get caught out

happy racing guys

Angelo
