From their competition line yes. They also have the v3.1 stock spec and I believe they have a new Just stock coming out.

Hey guys just put in a new 3.1 running 17.5 blinky 3.8 ratio. Small med size track.

I am getting high temps in the motor and esc... I had a lrp sxx in before same motor running about 25f higher. Both esc feel good. But with the hw on profile 2. Esc temp 125f and motor was 180s...

Anyone else notice?

What motor are you running? What do you have the endbell timing set at? For 17.5 TC 3.8 - 4.0 FDR works well for most motors. Your ESC seems a little warm but your motor seems like it's running hot. For motor temp, I'm usually around 140F for club racing and no more than 160F at larger races.

I have a couple questions about a XERUN V3.1.

1) When removing all timing and boost (0 deg), it blinks red on the ESC. Is that normal?

2) What profile should I run for 1/10th 2WD Buggy Off Road Carpet in the 17.5T stock class?

3) Do I need to recalibrate after I change settings in the ESC?

THanks!

Answers

1. Yes the flashing red light indicates the ESC is in "blinky" mode I.e no boost or timing.

2. Sorry I run on road,so no idea.

3. No need to recalibrate after changing settings

And believe that's correct, latest version software took these parameters away.

ok... so why? i cant change the BOOST timing curve in this way.... not? (by setting the max and the min rpm, we can change the dynamic boost behaviour)

If you know what you are doing don't use this software, use the previous version that has all the options available.

The ESC figures out the boost RPM range for itself on the latest software... and does a pretty decent job of it too, in my opinon. Give it a try.

If you desperately want/need boost rpm control, then you'll have to use an older version.

Default New Hobbywing V3.1 1S

I just purchased the HW V3.1 1S ESC and loaded the latest software/firmware. I have the speedo connected to an Sanwa/Airtronics RX471 receiver which is controlled by a Sanwa/Airtronics M12. The voltage cutoff is turned off. The issue I am facing is that the ESC shuts down during calibration. I know the receiver is bound since I have power and control the steering servo. I hold down the power button and the ESC goes into calibration mode with the 3 beeps. When I hit the button to confirm neutral the ESC shuts down. I still have power to the servo/receiver but the ESC is down. I will have to unplug the battery to repower up. What am I missing?

Default Xerun V3.1 1s: How to Set "Blinky" mode for 13.5?

I have a Xerun V3.1 1s ESC and the Multi-function LCD Program Box from Hobbywing. In the documentation for the ESC it list "Blinky" as one of the factory loaded profiles. However blinky mode is not listed as one of the profiles. Is there downloadable Blinky mode profile from Hobbywing, or is there documentation that will instruct me on how to make these setting changes? I am also running a Reedy Sonic 13.5 motor. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!!
