Default Tamiya teu-104bk esc

Just bought an on-road car with this esc speed controlled in it... it ran for 10minutes but now i have no throttle, only steering and the esc light is flashing red. I have new batteries in controller and the car batt which is a Team Orion 5100 7.2v nimh is fully charged.

Im annoyed because i've never had this happen before... Is it more likely a faulty esc considering my steering still works and if i switch ports on the receiver the steering works in both.

Any ideas??

Cheers lads

And i have checked all the power leads, wires etc... nothing is out of place... That i have noticed.

Find a copy of the ESC user manual online and read it

Flashing LED's usually indicates one of two conditions

LVC (Lipo low voltage cutout)
Should be disabled when running a nimh pack

ESC overheat condition

Cheers
