I stopped using the gens ace along time ago. With their balance wires they use such a thin gauge wire that you can actually pull/break the wire with your bare hands. To me that is too fragile for off road. All of my 4s packs (4 total) had the balance wires break within the pack. Either broke away at the solder joint or the wire just broke. Go with SMC packs. Danny has great service and includes a warranty. And the packs are built much better.

Has anyone had that happen, or suggest the best way to fix it? My guess is that the connecting wire for the 3rd cell came loose. Anyone ever attempt to fix a problem like this, and since its a hard case lipo, What will the case be like to re-assemble?

It's been so long, I wouldn't think I could warranty it.

Theres a very good how to on youtube I followed to open up a hard case pack that became unsoldered inside. Basicly use either a small crewdriver or Xacto int he grove of the battery any pry it up. DO NOT push the tip through the case. Once you get a spot open use your hands to slowly pry it open, working it from both sides. to reassemble it, simply apply CA to one half of the case.

U can open and resolder the wires back on, but u have to be careful cause I've seen ppl make a mistake and it was ugly haha, cause itsonly a thin layer of foil between u and the inner cells haha

Default 2 month old 14.8v 5000mah.

Like to find out who to contact for a warranty on my gensace lipo battery, it 2 months old ..and has dropped a couple cells.
I emailed the company I purchased it from, no reply!!
I also went to gensace website here in the USA. Emailed the service department and have gotten no reply.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank Shawn

Over rated company from the experience I has with a 2s batt. It's not spec as advert.
