Default Can you use a fixed timing motor with a programmable esc

Hi im looking at using a speed passion v2 motor with fixed timing with an xerun esc, can the esc still adjust the timing? will this motor run ok with that esc or would i need the v3?

Yep, you can program the timing from the ESC. I ran a SP 17.5 off a Tekin RS with advanced timing and had good results.

"Fixed Timing" in reference to a motor just means you can't change endbell (physical) timing. That's all. Electrical can still be changed at-will at the ESC.
