mt4 4pl or dx3r Pro? Opinions please.
I am looking to buy a new radio and can't decide. I usually never bash, just practice at the track and race so these are the choices I have narrowed it down to. The Dx3r Pro looks good but I hear the 3100 (high latency) recievers don't last to well and I hate running capacitors on my Savox servos. The 4Pl doesn't look bad at all and I like the low cost recievers but I have read about steering stops breaking. The MT4 looks good but $100 a reciever is a little pricey and I could care less about telemetry. I have heard the MT4 makes you feel really "connected" to the car but haven't heard that as much about the 4PL and 3R pro. I know the Airtronics has crazy fast latency 2.5 and 4.0ms where the 3R has 5.5ms and the 4PL is 6.8 but would the normal offroad racer notice the difference at all? Years ago I owned a regular dx3r and liked it, and right now i'm using a DX2 (first 2.4 Spektrum) old radio and I have outgrown the model memory so its time to upgrade. Thoughts????

MT4. The 92524 receivers are very good. Not as small as other brands, but work very well. The MT4 is more comfortable and seems much more quality in hand than the spektrums. The 4pl seems ok, but I have not seen many of them around here so I don't have much of a comment on it.
I don't know about you, but I certainly would not notice the speed difference in offroad. What I do feel in offroad is me smashing into the pipes

i use and like MT4.
it full 4ch, lightweight, hidden antenna.
it use new technology FHSS-4T. very stable.
and it can support backward to FHSS-2, FHSS-3.
So, it can use with older RX airtronics/sanwa too.
MT4 and dx3r have telemetry, while 4PL/4PK don't have telemetry.
MT4 (4ch TX) have fastest servo signal frame rate @ 5.2 msec (i measure it, with my oscilloscope)
DX3R (3ch TX) have fastest servo signal frame rate @ 5.5 msec
surprise, many of my friend that use M11x,
now them sell M11x then buy MT4 instead.

Futaba 4pl is an awesome radio!
More options than you will ever need and very easy setup to use!
You won't go wrong with a futaba 4pl
