Default Breaking in new LIPOs?

What's everyone's method if any for breaking in a new LIPO pack?
Cycle them? Charge them and run 'em?

Charge them and go.

Lipos have no memory so cycling them is just wasting some life of the pack.

^^ +1, cycling lipos is a waste of cycle life.

Def be sure to fully charge them when new, this is an important step and if you run them before charging, they will likely not perform up to their best.

I read that you should only discharge them to 50% of useable power the first 5 cycles, anyone else do this? just got two new Gens Ace 5300mah 65c I don't want to ruin.

I try to, but don't go crazy over it. I like to run my new packs on practice days. Charge them, turn a few laps then bring it in to make adjustments.

I don't think I've ever hit LiPo cutoff.

IMO, Dont be Sucking your packs down to 5% Nor charging at anything above 1C for the first 5-6 cycles. After that Go Nuts.

yes lipo's dont have a Memory, But Beating them to death in the first few charges isn't a wise idea.
