Default Loose balance tap? I think

I have a Gens ace 2s 4000mah 30c battery that I think the ballence taps are loose. I tried to charge and the charger had voltage error. Tried again and one cell had voltage then it dropped to nothing. I played With the wires and it charged/ballenced just fine.

What's the best way to fix this?? Will they short, puff, or worse because of this?? This is my first time with lipos so be nice..

Thanks
Mark

with out seeing the plug first hand its a little hard to say.
you maybe able to pop the pins out on the balance plug (like on servo plug)
and give them a small tighten with a pair of pliers
i dont balance my lipos (unless needed) and just keep a eye on the cells make sure they dont get to far out. most batteries these days are very good and stay with in .02-.03 of a volt.
if it only charges 1 cell whilst charging it wont hurt the pack, but when discharging it could and probably would discharge the low cell below 3 volts
destroying the pack.
hope that makes sense

Thanks. I'm pretty sure its a loose wire and not the Plug. I guess I was wondering how do I open up the pack and fix the connection. And do this with out burning up the pack, or anything else.

Thanks
Mark

My bad, I thought you ment the balance plug.
I have fixed lipos by resoldering the wires inside the pack with no problems. But if you try that be very carful

What's the best way to open up the case. I assume once opened it should be pretty obvious what needs to be done.

Thanks again
