Default savox factory warrenty?

I probably should have this in the electronic section but i believe I will get the best results here.

Anyway, I plan on using savox servos on my d8. Does anyone have experience with savox customer service and warranty program? In other words is the support anything like hitecs?

The thing that bothers me about Savox servo warranty is that officially there is no warrenty. 90 days, 6 months, 1 year, no mention of any warranty on the Savox site. Warranty return form, nada.

Savox have, or had, a one-year warranty. Not sure if they changed it or not.

I know when I bought my servos they did - so they are legally obligated to honor it throughout the remainder of the contract as far as me and the law is concerned.

As long as the failure is their fault by manufacture or materials, it is not a license for the user to abuse the product and expect it to be replaced under warranty. Now who decides if a product was abused, why the manufacturer's customer service rep of course.

See, this is why I asked. These days hitec has everyone spoiled with their repair/replace program.

I don't expect to have a problem with the servos. I've never had a problem with any servo but i don't want to be completely azzd out if I have a problem. I would be willing to pay a fee for repair/replacement if i had the option.

My hobby shop said they would give me a 90day free replacement if i bought them there. After 90 days I would have to take it up with the manufacturer.
