Default Binding problem with spektrum

Been trying for about an hour to bind my mr 200 marine receiver to my dx 3 r. Receiver flashes in bind mode but when I put the radio in bind mode the re iver flashes slowly about 5 times and stops. The solid light at the end of the bind never comes on. I have tried different batteries and even different spektrum radios. What gives?

How old is your DX3R ?

Believe the earlier models (without boat sticker on them) wont work with the marine receiver

Cheers

If the transmitter has a marine sticker on it then it will work with the marine protocol

Would imagine the Pro will work as it is a later release

Pretty sure you can get your DX3R upgraded for a small fee

Cheers
