Default Is spektrum sr3100 compatible with ko propo servos

Ok so this is my first complete build. i have a spektrum dx3r with sr 3100 receiver. I have ko propo power and response servos. When i started to plug in the servos to the receiver there is a small lip that is on the side of the servo plugs which cause them to not plug in. Will these servos work with this receiver ? Should just trim the lip off the plugs ?

I believe that "tab" is a futaba style plug. If you look at pictures of futaba receivers you will see a cutout on the rx that allows it to be plugged in. This is a safety measure to make sure that you can't plug in the wire backwards. Just remember that you have black/red for -/+ and then a signal wire which will be a different color. Perhaps orange or white?
Anyway, trim off that tab and orient the plug so that it is correct for your receiver.

This is a very common occurance and won't hurt anything at all. Take an exacto knife and carefully cut off the soft plastic tab. It is very easy to do and takes little pressure as the plastic is soft.
