Exclamation JACKED UP STEERING!! HELP!!!!!

I have a AE SC10. Spektrum DX2 transmitter, Spektrum SR3000 reciever and a AE SHV 1504 servo, with a Sidewinder SV2 speed control, Castle 1406-1Y 5700 KV brushless motor. My problem is this, I run it and I am getting a seriuos steering problem. Sometimes it will hit a bump and turn to the stop either right or left and stay there. Other times as I pass myself ( from one side of the transmitter to the other) the steering will reverse? As you can imagine this make the truck imposible to drive! Help would be appreciated!! Oh and I am running a Winforce 30C 5000 mAh LI-PO battery.

Sounds like a bec related issue, common with Castle ESC's and higher powered servos

You may need to install a glitch buster style capacitor or better still an external bec

Cheers

Thank you for the info! I am really excited to be back in the hobby but the technology has changed a bit in 10 years!
