Radio Advice
Hey guys, I have a question for you. I picked up an OFNA 9.5 not too long ago, but I am in need of a radio for it. What would you guys recommend. I would like it to be of decent quality, and last well. What can you recommend? Thanks!

um the mx3x has some extra features like adjustble throttle trigger a better receiver it looks like that can handle more voltage and some other extra features.
but i think the mx3x will last longer likely than the sport one the quality looks better for sure.

Depending on how much you want to spend, the Futaba 4pl looks like a good radio that will not break the bank. Extra receivers are cheap also. Probably a good pick if you plan on any racing. Probably overkill if you are just bashing.

4PL is a awesome budget radio, receivers are 7.4 and reasonablly for cost. Performace rates are nice also but your looking around 200ish range buy a used one save $$

Thanks for all of the advice guys. I wound up going with a Spektrum DX3.0. It is what they had at my local shop, and it seems to fit all of my needs. For now I am just a backyard basher. The nearest track to me is in Miramesa, and I love in Oceanside. So I wont be getting super serious any time soon. But do any of you have any tips to go with the DX3?

some of the $20 HK 2.4G radios can cause (minor) interfernce, sometimes (as with my Spektrum & my friends HK/GT2)
Get a receiver cap (look on Spektrums website) . Or make one.
Dont use nasty brand servo's with it. Seriously. Stick with Savox, Futaba, KoPro etc, or else run the risk of brownouts, rx restarts.
the Losi MRx3000 is the cheapest option for a 2nd receiver for extra cars.
Also the transmitter arial is very easy to break. If it breaks use some heatshrink to fix it -will be rigid but still will work.
