Default KO's Spread spectrum system

Good, bad, indifferent ?

I've been having trouble with the spectrum system installed onto my KO Stick unit. When in a heat with 10 drivers I get interference. Less people, system ok. Talking to a few others they've suffered similiar problems and all ditched the spectrum system for other brands 2.4Ghz offerings. As I'd like to keep the hand set I have I'm looking to get feedback before I fork out £150 for something that might still cause issues.

sorry not to answer ur question, but this has been happening to me and so as long as i keep a glitch buster on the rx side and keep my voltage above 10.8v with nimh on my tx side, i get by. i'm using a lipo pack now for my tx and that has helped me with the annoyance of recharging all the time. i've found that when my tx battery runs lower than 10.8v and there are a lot of guys using spektrum around i start to suffer but after i did those 2 things that helped me get through race nights.

certainly worth a try with a cap on the rx. Crammin it in on my 12th will be a challenge though. Do you know what capacity the caps are ?
I already use lipo in the tx. Battery charge was my first thought but that was still way high enough
