Default Spektrum tx/ reciever compatibility

Super noob question here. Im still pretty new on the ins and outs of 2.4 radios. Have a brand new dx3c in the box just came in today. Came with one reciever. Thats going in my buggy. My shortcourse has an associated 2.4 with the trs401 reciever. Will the associated reciever work with the Spektrum? Just wondering if I can use this one for a second car. If not is there a list of what recievers are compatible? Thanks and sorry again for the noob question

Nick

It won't work, sorry.

Crack open the manual for the DX3C and inside is a list of ALL the compatable receivers for that transmitter.

Forgot to mention that Losi 2.4 RTR receivers are made by Spektrum and are the same as their SR300 so those are compatible too and retail for $50.

20 model memory, but what does that have to do with RX/TX compatability?

sorry i thought it was a single model memory. I was thinking ahead as the OP mentioned he is new, i was trying to help him out by saying that(since i thought it was a single model TX) he would have to bind everytime he wanted to use a differant car.

but that is all invalid. Apoligies.

Even if the transmitter didn't have multiple model memory storage you can still bind more than one receiver to it. You just have to redo the trims and settings every time you switch toys.

And even if it did have one model memory you still need a compatable receiver to work with it.
