HK Eco8 150w charger.. any good?
It looks like the Accucel 8 150w 8s charger is no more. Backorder from HK and one of my other sellers is listing it as no longer available.
HK do have the Eco8 though which looks the same, but i want to know if they're any good, does anyone use one? balancer accuracy, reliability, etc i know about the no dc socket thing, not an issue as the power supply it would run on has 4mm connectors so i'd just cut the crocodile clips off and fit 2 4mm plugs. Or machine an adaptor so the croc clips can be used safely on it.
i need more than 50w and i'd like to be able to charge 8s. Can't really afford a high end junsi to do more than 6 cells. I'd planned on getting an accucel 8 but the HK is cheaper than the Accucel ever was... even if i go to a 1/8 bl i'm never going to have enough batteries or charge at rates that justify a 350w+ charger.. a 150w 8s capable unit feels like a good mid way compromise that'll do the rates i want
anyone got one? how is it?
