Default soldering a esc and motor???

I was wondering if I need to put in the bullet things from the esc to the motor. The esc just has very long wires and I didnt know if I needed to cut them and put the bullets in or just solder straight to the motor. Its the Novak pro set up that is going into a scte.

No reason to use bullets if you are not planning to change motors

Cheers
