Does Hobbypartz sell a low voltage cutoff?
I'm about to order several lipos and 2200ma AA's and need a low voltage cut off for my and my son's Detta SC's but couldn't find one on their site. If not, any recommendations? Gotta be cheap as we'll upgrade to brushless shortly. Probably get the Hobbywing 35a esc.

What about a cutoff? I'm not usually that far from it anyway I guess. I just ordered 3 Gensace 2200 lipos for our Detta SC's and two 1800 lipos for the Miniquake and Megatech/Caster cars. Also got 16 2200ma AA's for $22. Seemed too good to pass up for that money.

Thats it.
ESC shouldn't care, volts are just volts whether from a NiMh, lipo, whatever. ESC is rated to 8.4v, so there shouldn't be any probs.

Glad I looked, this is the 1st 2 lines from Tower's tech notes for the SC esc -"This is the Duratrax ESC 7550 Electronic Speed Control with Reverse.
Do NOT use LiPo batteries with this ESC."
However, if i remember correctly, this is only because there's no builtin lvc. In the "Detta thread, I think I remember several saying they'd run lipo with no probs.....
