Default Savox SC-1267MG "Ultra Speed" AND SC-1268MG "Ultra Torque"

Any of you guys use these servos? What do you think about them? Is the ultra speed good enough for truggies? Initially, it will be i a buggy and may find it's way in truggy. I want to make sure im not buying something that may die on me.

I use these servos on my buggy and truggy. They are plenty fas and more powerful than you ever need. I love them. I run them on a lipo rx pack unregulated.

Great servo's, just make sure you get the HV ones.
They have the orange heatsink, you also have the older series with the camouflage colourd heatsink, dont get those.
The ones with the orange heatsink have plenty off power for a truggy on direct lipo.

Do the 1267 & 1268 need a lipo or can I use a 1600nimh?

Thats what i mend,

The new HV 1267 and 1268 have the orange coloured heatsink, the older non HV 1267 and 1268 have the camouflage coloured heatsink.
You can use the HV version also on a Nihm or Life pack, only the specs will go down a bit.
If you are not going to use a lipo, take a look at the 1256 for steering and 1258 for trotthle/break i used that combo for 2 season in a MBX6-T before i went to the HV 1267/1268 on lipo.

Check out this link:
The new version are on top, for the older versions you have to scroll down a bit.

Those servos are great, I've recently become a big fan of Savox servos, I've always used Hitec but decided to try these out and they've been really good. Like in previous post if you are using lipos go with 1267hv/1268hv if not then your better choice will be 1258tg/1256tg, but the ones that you mentioned will be more then capable on a truggy. My TLR 8ight t 2.0 set up right now is 1258tg thottle/1256tg steering, had this in for a couple of months, my TLR 8ight 2.0 is 1258tg throttle/1258tg steering, I love the speed for steering.

For the money, its the best servo out there. I run the 1267 and 1268 in my 8t 2.0 and I love it!! Very fast and very strong. They also center very well. Pick up a set you will not regret it.
