Default 3PKS and R603FS Binding Question

I have a 3PKS and 4 R603FS receivers. My 3PKS is set up for 4 different cars, each with it's own 603FS. When I select a model in the 3PKS it finds the receiver just fine and works great. I noticed that if I leave the 3PKS on a different model for a different car, it still finds that receiver on whatever receiver is turned on and starts working, applying the settings for the selected car which may be wrong for the car it found. I thought that once it was paired with a particular receiver, it would not pair itself with a different one? Or does it just look for any close by compatible receiver whenever the 3PKS is turned on? Hopefully that makes sense, if not I can explain further. Thanks!

On a 3pks the model number does not reconize a particular RX. That is something spektrum does.

It sees all rx's as the same and leaves it up to you to switch models in the tx.

Hope this helps.

Yup - that is exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks for the quick reply!
