Default PLUTONIUM 13.5T

After this weekend i'll get some results. Although what ever is run and track used unless you replicate the exact parameters : ESC , TRACK and CAR they will only be a guide and might not work for your situation!

From others I've been able to get info from is that this motor seems, in particular 21.5 with turbo applied, to be very smooth in power transition. The other point it stays cool when run at 0 deg timing, as it should. Have not had any replies running advanced timing so this will more than likely provide a different result.

Stay tuned.....

Cheers

Ren

Default WHERE TO GET THE PLUTONIUM

TEAM POWERS do have an ESC but only a locked pure STOCK version at this stage and a lower amp equivalent to suit only 21.5, 17.5 motors.

These motors are compatible for use in any brushless type ESC. I.E. HOBBYWING, SPEEDPASSION, TEKIN etc......

Currently here in Australia from myself : R.A.B. Hobbies. In UK from TEAM POWERS UK and selected shops in EU and ASIA.

Cheers

Default Power !!

After some testing on a 60A HW XTREME STOCK compared to a SP21.5 on a 120A XERUN 1S ESC i can say that the TP21.5P has a better and smoother throttle with a more linear climb to turbo which produced a higher terminal speed than the SP21.5 running a more aggressive setting. Below is a comparison of the settings for evaluation. Temps were very close at 60C on our track in Melbourne AUS. Still to run in actual race conditions for full test so the below are evaluation settings.
One of our drivers although had a TP13.5P running in against cars in open class which consists of 4.5T and 6.5T motors. Even though passing was difficult the ability to keep up was impressive. This did raise eyebrows.........to say the least.

TP21.5P on HW XTREME STOCK ESC

1 : FW/BK
2 : 0%
3 : 3.0V
4 : 9
5 : 100%
6 : 100%
7 : 0%
8 : 6% ON THUNDER TIGER PS3i
9 : 15
10 : 12
11 : #1
12 : 30
13 : 4000
14 : .3
15 : 700RPM

Faster and more rpm and less heat.

SP21.5 V3 on HW 120A 1S ESC

1 : FW/BK
2 : 0%
3 : 3.0V
4 : 9
5 : 100%
6 : 100%
7 : 0%
8 : 6% ON FUTABA 2PL 2.4G
9 : 25
10 : 18
11 : #1
12 : 30
13 : 4000
14 : .3
15 : 550RPM

More instant punch and aggressive jump to turbo. Motor still stayed cool. End rpm not near TP21.5P.

The drive ability of the TP21.5P felt better and had a higher end RPM which felt more controllable on throttle. Better feel for a tight track with very good speed for a long straight.

Hope this info is of help to all. More actual track days will be updated.

All in all i am very impressed and see the results getting better as weeks go by.

Cheers
