The 17.5, 13.5 and all of the Mod motors are ROAR legal. Only the 21.5 was submitted late. We should have approval soon....

Thanks guys, I'm a firm believer in these motors. I was already running up front with a different motor, running the actinum just made the gap even further. I'm sure I'll see more of these motors at our series now.

Actinium 17.5 keeps in rolling at Jackson. Other options are being tested ... And we keep on coming back to this motor. I lent a motor out to my buddy Al and he promptly tq'd over me.

I cannot wait to see what this motor can do indoors...

+1 - the Actinium should be a beast on the rug...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Actinium 17.5 swept the top 4 spots at Jackson this weekend... Week in, week out, this seems to be the motor of choice at Jackson.

Awesome results!

It is nice to see these motors receiving the attention they deserve. They are superb on the track.

Any eta on "soon"?

We have a 'certain' race coming up near the end of August, and results from testing we would like to be able to run this motor exclusively.

I ran a 17.5 actinium in my tc last night. I didn't break no track record but definitely fast. I was messing with my fdr during qualifying and once right before the race. Made it to the track late so end up missing two quals and was rushing a new setup. I have a good understanding of where the motor is comfortably fast and cool. No doubt next outing it'll lay down a better race pace.

Anyone tried running a 12.3 rotor? I didn't check yet but I'm assuming there's a 12.5 in there. The 12.3 in a 21.5 is a rocket, slightly less torque but has a tremendous amount if acceleration when geared at its sweet spot.

Well, I ran my Team Powers Actinium in 17.5 1/12 Scale at TQ Racing in Chino, CA, over the weekend and it ran pretty well. My car ran a fast lap of 9.100, which was in practice but it was less than a tenth off the fastest 17.5 lap I saw recorded that day, and the motor felt like it had more to give but the track was a bit weird for me and my driving. Next time I think I'm going to play around with timing the motor up and gearing down.

The motor seems to work just fine on 1s. The hottest I got it was about 165F, but I could have cooked it if I was a complete dunce and geared/timed it like my old D3.5.

Try 93 or 94mm with timing on 4.

So gear it down and time it up. Will do, but with how tight the TQRC track is I might wind up at even less rollout.

I won't be able to race again for a few weeks, at least, but this motor will be run at Vegas in October, unless I hurt it and have to get another one.
