the only good thing is that the motor doesnt build any heat, has been 75 degrees (celsius) as worst.
swapped my old packs out for new gens ace packs, very little difference.

i have switched to d3.5 now as all drivers using them is smoking me on the straight, and have much more power in the infield too
Bappe, I m using the standard plutonium with the 12.3 rotor in it and geared at 4.02 96/43 and the car is plenty fast. try putting the stock sensor board back in it

I'm currently qualified 2nd overall in 17.5 tc at an indoor carpet race my track is holding. Most everyone has a d3.5... But that can be overcome by good setup and driving...

Highest punctuation to word ratio I've ever seen. Congrats.

Back to the plutonium motor question: I think these motors will do great in a shaftdrive Car and tall gearing(3.4fdr- 3.6fdr) ... Limiting gearing only makes sense when everybody runs the same motor !!!

My Novak motors also need tall gearing to keep up with the rest of the pack, and they also generate no heat at N timing... I am experimenting now with 3.35fdr to 3.6fdr on carpet tracks, but that's only possible with shaftdrive cars not beltdrive cars.....

The D3.5s don't do all that well here.

I haven't been to a track where a D3.5's aren't competitive?

Well, most racers will prefer more power/punch over high top speed with less bottom End grunt, but there is a way to conserve momentum that gives the higher top speed Car the advantage... Most want to point and shoot, then brake hard, which is the opposite of what a true fast racer should look for.... The Germans have figured it out, but others have not....
