I got Futaba 2PL and would like to get a lipo for it?

Could you guys tell me if there is any problem with putting lipo into 2PL?
Any lipos that you can recommend?

That radio uses only 4 AAs. Thats ~6v, lipo (2S) is 8.4v which is too high. LiFe (2S) is 6.6v, but that may be too much as well and with a breakin process to go thru with LiFe, its a PIA and I'm not sure there's one that would fit anyway.


You're better off getting 4 AA Sanyo Eneloop low self discharge rechargeable cells and using those. They are much batter than ordinary rechargeables. Turnigy makes some as well and they're just about as good.
