hitec 7985mg coreless digital cuts out on 6v but is perfect on 7v???

So i have a mamba max pro with adjustable voltage for the servo... It was set at 5v and the servo cant keep up with my reciver, and at 6 or 6,5 same deal but at 7v it is perfect!!!WIll this DAMAGE the servo???? Thanks guys
