I purchased a Ofna Hyper 8 buggy a couple days ago second hand and was given a Futaba 2PH radio with it along with a bunch of other stuff. To make a long story short the lipo I was given as the receiver pack shorted out both servos and the on/off switch. I replaced both servos and the swtich.

Now when I turn the car on the servos turn on but there is no signal between the transmitter and receiver. I have swapped out the receiver for another one that is tuned for the crystal and still nothing (tried both receivers on a HPI Savage as well and nothing)

I am wondering if I possibly shorted out the RX crystal or if the transmitter is faulty or what exactly I need to do.
