Need some help here!

So I found throughout the thread people saying many different things, and I would like to know that the M11X and the MT-4 are the same speed in response correct? They use the same technology! Or is the MT-4 only as fast when used with the M11X Reciver? What I have read around says that the MT-4 and the M11x respond at the same speed. Anyone here to CONFIRM that?

The MT-4 with the FH4T receiver is just as fast as the M11X with the 92451 receiver.

This is what I was told from Airtronics Rep

Right but if you combine it with a shr servo and put it in shr mode instead of nor mode then you will be able to use the super high response time.

Wow, I actually read all nineteen pages of this thread. Whoooooo!! I'm so ready for my pop quiz baby. Lol

Anyway, I just ordered my mt-4 yesterday and I'm so excited. All the bells and whistle, graphs after graphs, man I just can't wait to have it in my hands.

So I got a few questions.
is the mt-4 transmitter firmware upgradeable? Because I don't see it mention. I come from the futaba 14mz and every so often the developer release out a new firmware with newer updates and newer function to meet the demands of pilots and enthusiast needs. I though this is a convenient feature to have.

Also, I'm looking forward to do a backlight modification to the transmitter soon after I get it. But i searched around everywhere and I see no one post any remarks about their feelings or thoughts aout this modification. Is this some kind of taboo to talk about or something. I do night flying on model aircraft and have good experience in handling electroluminescent panels and wires and as well as converters. So what's there to hide?

On your back-light mod question, there have been a couple people that have completed the mod. Both seemed happy with the results but I think one didn't like the vibrate function of it.

Default drop-down and back-light for MT4

We have receive a lot of requests for drop-down and back-light for the MT4.

Currently testing our prototype drop-down for the MT4 so stay tuned when we release the pre-production pics. For those that also own a DX3R, may be familiar with our drop-down for the DX3R.

http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...course-10.html

The back-light kit needs more testing and also we need to make the kit as easy as possible to install. The only thing that would hold back a lot a people for the back-light conversion, is the voiding of their warranty if it is done.

I can't speak for everyone, but Ive been using mine for the entire race season and haven't found anything to complain about. It works great and is super light. The only drawback is that additional receivers are $$$$ if you want to run telemetry in everything.

Has anyone hooked up the rpm sensor to a nitro engine? If so, could you post up some pics?

Thanks in advance.
