Default which wires go where? esc to motor

castle sidewinder esc.
going to direct solder it to an LRP x12 vector

which wires go where? or do i just put the white in the center and the red/black can go on either side

Shouldn't make any diff as long as you have a Castle link. If motor runs backwards, you can use the link to reverse it instead of the usual swapping any two of the wires.

thats what i thought.. but does the white go center? or it doesnt matter where any wire goes

This is a sensorless setup; it doesn't matter other than the direction. The Castle links allows you to reverse via the esc if it is backwards the way you have it soldered.
