Questions?? Trying to link transmitter to receiver - Futaba

I have a Futaba3PM 2.4G and a new R603FF receiver for a second car I'm building now. I'm having trouble linking the two.

The receiver's LED won't turn on at all and I don't know how to get it to turn on so it can read the transmitter.

The speed controls light is blinking but I need to link the receiver before I can set that up..

I tried following the 6-step instructions on page 24 but it's not helping.

Anything helps,
Thanks!

If there's no light at all sounds like it hasn't got power. Check the connection to the speed control.

Can you try it in the original car, do a direct swap with the other receiver? You should at least get a red light on the receiver even if it's not linked to the transmitter. If you don't get any lights after a direct swap with a working receiver there is probably something wrong with the new one.

Are you sure you have the esc plugged into the rcvr with the right polarity? Black wire should be to the outside of the rcvr.

I thought everything was hooked up right and I tried a couple times. I will keep double checking and also try the direct swap

It looks like the speed control is defective.

I hooked my new receiver to my TA05 and it got power for the first time. I hooked the new speed control(which gets power) to the TA05 and the old receiver gets no power.

I will probably take it to my LHS to get it re-wired or something..
