Lightbulb Need guides on how to set a Hitec HS-7940TH servo endpoints

I was told to set EPA or endpoint adjustments on a new digital servo. So I'm gonna ditch the stock servo and fix Hitec HS-7940TH to my Vorza buggy. I've no idea what is EPA nor how to set endpoints. Is it compulsory to do EPA or can i just plug and play straight away?
My configs are:
Vorza buggy
Futaba 4PKS with a R614FF Receiver
Hitec HS-7940TH
2x Turnigy 2s 5800Mah 28C

In some applications not using endpoints could cost you a servo in no time. In any case, not using your E.P. adjustments can potentially cause undue stress to the servo. Begin by getting comfortable finding the setting on your radio and knowing how it works. The percentage, or knob, depending on your radio, sets how far the servo will travel in the respective direction. You want to set it so that you just get to full lock on your steering but no further. If the vehicles steering system is already turned to full lock and the servo is still trying to go further, this is hard on the servo.

Make sure you check the endpoint adj across the full range of suspension travel.
