Default Charger question.

I am looking to get another charger as I am getting more batteries. I plan to get a 4s battery to run in my E-Hyper 7. My current charger does 5 amps with 1s-6s lipo. I read that since it is only a 50 watt charger it cant charge a 5000mah 4s pack at a full 5 amps. I would like to get a charger that could charge it at 1c.
I was looking at this charger:

It needs a power supply though. Are there any acdc chargers in that price range like that? How much would a power supply be and how big would it be? I open to other suggestions for chargers. I am looking to spend a maximum of $70.
Thanks in advance!

To charge 4S 5000mah for exampl, it takes 16.8v x 5amps = 84watts for a 1C charge. A 2C charge if allowed by the lipo manufacturer, would take 168watts (2x as much) and would need 10amps versus 5amps for the 1C charge.

The charger you linked is a 200watt charger and to run it at full power you'd need a PS with more than 200watts since chargers have some inefficiency, so with that inefficiency included, PS would need 250watts. Thats for fullpower. If all you're goping to do is 2C charges at 10amps, you'd just need 210watts, 1C charging at 5amps - 105watts.

There are a few 100watt AC/DC chargers, but they are ~$130. The smaller PS for 1C charging would be about $30 -

Your budgets a little short if the $70 was to cover both....

Could I use a 200w PC power supply? If I were to buy a 50w charger about how long would it take to charge a 4s 5000 mah battery.

Yeah, that PC PS would be ok. You'd be able to pull about 160watts of charging power from the charger using a 200watt supply.

A 50watt charger will limit charging current to stay under its power limit, so for a 4S, the charge rate would be 50watts/16.8v = ~3amps. The rate will start higher when the lipo voltage is lower and then fall as the lipo voltage comes up. Hard to tell how much time, but since its charging at ~60% of a 1C rate, estimate would be 1hr 40min. May be less, may be more depending on how discharged it is.
