Default before you order batteries

don't do what I did, and assume that the widths of a 2s soft pack lipos are all the same! ARRGGGG!!! two of the three lipos I just bought don't fit in my sc10.. Now I may need to buy another car just to fit these batteries!

Hobby King.. They post their dims, I just didn't look close enough. I was more concerned about height than width. the hardcase is 46mm wide, but the soft ones are 50mm wide, just a bit too wide. I've got other uses for them, but I really wanted a couple to fit the sc10.
I guess size DOES matter...

The HK lipos I've gotten have usually been a little bigger than what they post on their site, so I try to make sure I have a few mm to spare.

Those lipos come a long way to wind up not fitting where you wanted them.

yeah, except these were from the US warehouse, so they actually didn't come to far. Of course, all lipos probably came from somewhere in china, just like everything else.
Like I said, I'll find another use for them, but I'll have to order a couple more. I wonder how the hobbypartz lipos hold their dims in comparison?
