Default What brand of servos do the pros use?? with futaba 4pk

I really want to get a futuba 4pk and run it high speed mode..

Unfortunatly it will only run that way of you have hing end futaba servos...

What is the best type of servos the pro racers use? combined with a 4pks..

HRS mode works with any brand DIGITAL servo

That said, the Futaba Brushless servos are the best anyway

IMO, futaba makes the best car servo on the market, the BLS351. I run one in my 2wd buggy, and it is a monster of a servo.

Typically the Pros use whichever servo they are given by their sponsors. That doesn't mean those servos are the best or worst, those are the ones someone wants to sell to the market.

Usually any good quality digital servo would be fine with the 4PK and you should match the servo to the end use you intend. A good 1/4 scale steering servo would be a poor choice in a 1/10 buggy.

I have found that in the twenty some years in RC that Futaba and Airtronics(Sanwa) servos have been the most reliable. JR is OK but they tended to wear out faster than the previous brands. Hitec's digital servos are OK even if they whine a lot. I am trying out a Savox servo now in my SC and it seems to be doing well but only time will tell.
