Default battery for KO Propo EX-10 Helios?

I have seen various transmitter batteries for the EX-10 Helios online but never in stock. These out of production? I guess I'm stuck using 8x NiMh AA batteries? Was hoping to find something that didn't drain as quickly.

if it takes 8 aa's just find a 3s lipo anything 1000mah or more that fits in the battery tray or in the space left if you remove the battery tray.. TX lipo mod is common.

Cool thanks. I know the Ko has reversed polarity in the transmitter. Is this wired for standard polarity or is it setup for the Helios directly. Also, when charging it, do you have to swap the polarity of the wires each time for the connector to the charger?

2650 MAH last forever. I've had mine for years get an insane amount of time out of a charge. You can charge them on your normal RC battery charger at 1c. Plus they weigh something so you actually remember that you're holding a radio.

How do you charge them on an R/C charger? I have a plug for a KO Transmitter but it doesn't work to charge the AA pack.
