I see but I can also charge without the balancer wire so without that mean I am not balance charging?

Can someone help me with the storage charge mode. How do I select storage charge? I selected 3.8/c from the lipo charge and after 19s it says completed but the voltage is still at 8.1v. Anyone? Thanks.

If you don't use the balancer wire between the charger and the battery, so you are not balancing the battery during the charging process. You can proceed like this, but at your own risks (regarding LiPo usual safety way of doing).

Regarding the storage mode, you have to select the charge mode, then when all your "usual" setup of charge is validated, you will see on the next screen the timer (autostart) and just below "storage charge". You have to click on the screen to select the voltage you want your battery to be stored and then start the process.

I don't remember if the storage mode include the discharge if the voltage of the battery is to high regarding the value of the storage, but if it doesn't, you can simply do a discharge at the desired value.

G-rem

Hi, thanks.. I tried the discharge and the storage mode but bother indicate that charging us completed after around 20s but when I check on the battery voltage, it's around 4v. Am I doing anything wrongly? Both storage charge and discharge I've set the end voltage to 3.8/c.

Do you proceed to it with the balancing wire plugged in the battery? If not this is the problem because the chargeur has no way to know how is the voltage.

You will want to set the end v -.2v for max 12a discharge, as the reading is under load during discharge

Ya balancing wire is plugged in.

So I'll set my end voltage to 3.6 instead of 3.8 and discharge at 12A?

Thanks..

You just need to figure out what resistance is needed to display temp within proper range.
Hi, took me a while to actually see this reply - thanks very much.

Can you tell me what rating resistor you used to get 19deg?

All u need to do is to set the discharge rate at not more than 5A.

When I have to store a battery that is fully charged, here is what I do with my pulsar touch: (e.g.: IP 7800mAh 7.4v)

- discharge mode (of course with the balancer lead plugged in)
- discharge rate = 7.8A (= 1C)
- end voltage = 3.8 ~ 3.9v/c
- start!

That's all

3.8v per cell will do

@G-rem
So you don't need to do a storage charge after that?

@hobbs
I tried 3.8 but when it's completed, the voltage is around 4v per cell. I've tried setting discharge to 5A.

Thanks
