Default Servo repair?

I have a JR "Racing Servo" (don't remember the number) in my Associated TC3 and it's being used as a steering servo.
The problem is....When I turn it to the right and release the wheel slowly, the servo makes a buzzing sound and doesn't return to center. If I touch the servo arm it centers and stops buzzing. I have removed all the linkage so it's absolutely a problem with the servo.
Is there something I can do to repair the servo or am I stuck shelling out more money for another servo?
Any help will be appreciated...
