What's A Good Synthesized Radio?
Not looking to spend too much, but I'm looking for a radio and receiver that have the manually variable frequencies (not 2.4).

I guess due to popularity of 2.4, doen't look like many are available. Only one comes up searching is JR XS3. I don't see any actually for sale though. Tower is still selling the Futaba FM synth module, but not a radio setup that way.

I agree. Your best bet is to look for a JR XS3, I've used mine for years and it is still working well. Your other option is to look for synthesized modules for the M8 or 3PK.
