This is very important for those going to IIC next week as this is the only blinky software correct?

508_no_timing is not allowed in blinky classes, correct?

Thanks
Not sure what your issue is as I run hobbywing 508 no timing and it runs the right way. Maybe something to do with your firmware or motor?

508_no_timing doees work fine, I'm also using it currently with out a problem.

It's 508_Zero that has the issue.

I copy/paste/replaced new files. Then I reloaded the v1_508 on my Jusstock. Is it that easy, or did I miss something?

To me it all works well, in the new version V3 508 No timing the brake has 8 settings and the red LED flashes more.

These files carry 3 types of software

2.930 mod based on the 119 less sensativity on sensor port means less errors
3.930 stock based on the 211 less sensativity on sensor port means less errors

this allows you to change settings in the ESC and update software in the ESC via your computer.

I'm mildly concerned about the legality of updating firmwares for zero timing without any submission to ROAR about it, even if it's changes to brakes and whatnot, I worry it will be perceived as a chance to sneak in some timing by some people.

While I gather that is not the case, I just feel ROAR test and original firmware and approve that, then it gets tampered with, from what I read another brand got banned and kicked from the list for some time because they updated some firmware to something that turned out to be illegal.

Having said that, I'll have to re-check my Justock, as I can't even remember what version is on that right now, how many 'zero' firmwares do we have to use now?, as I'm getting confused.

a 10.5t is not the problem, at least here you will get more reply, did you try a different motor also?

And put your setup etc...as mentionned on other thread.

I am using a 120A v2.1 and am really happy with it. The esc never get hot or does not thermal.
A fellow driver has a new 1s 120A without the heatsink or fan attached. With a 10.5 x12 and 2s the esc was getting so hot after just a couple of minutes that the temperature cut off engaged?

He still had the original insert in the motor but the motor was 75 degrees C. So that can't be it i think?

How can the esc thermal with 2s lipo and a 10.5t? Does the 1s 120A get hot that easy without a heatsink? He did reach 104 km/h with his xray x10

If your setup is too aggressive it can cause this...

I had a good nights racing on tuesday with no problems my setup was
boost 30
boost start 4000
no turbo
acc 300
punch 5
last night at my regular club bigger track my settings were
boost 37
start 4000
acc 300
punch 6
no turbo
brand new cable new sensor board
the car went into sensorless mode in 2 out of the 3 heats then again in the final
I never had this problem with my hobbywing 13.5 and 17.5 even with more aggresive settings.
Ive wasted 4 weeks of club time trying to fix this and i dont want to buy a new motor until i know what causes it, so any thoughts will be appreciated
software is 211

I've been running the following;

UFO 4.5t
FDR; 113/28 - 7.86

Running mode - 1
Drag Brake - 10%
Voltage protect - 3.2v
DDRS - 1
Brake force - 75%
Reverse force - 25%
Initial brake - Drag brake
Neutral range - 6%
Boost timing - 20
Turbo Slope - 12units/0.1s
Overheat protection - On
Turbo timing - 15
Boost start - 10,000
Turbo delay - 0.3s
Timing ACC - 100RPM/unit

Motor temp 70°C

It's a bit funky to take advantage of the boost and turbo, but it's still pretty smooth. Depends a bit on the track, if you need less initial punch, lengthen the timing ACC.

HiH
