At the moment I'm running the Xtreeme Stock on 518 with the DRRS on 9, start at 3000rpm, boost at 21 deg, turbo max and ramp at 250 at a 5.1 ratio. Temps are around 70deg but its a lap and a half down on pace from the Graupner motor (RIP) I was using. Any help appreciated
Hi You will never get it as quick as the Graupners or Corally due to the difference in design of the motors however I don't think you are far off the mark, you may want to increase your start RPM up to 5000-6000 could possible lower your ACC to make it punchier but what the temps I run my hobbywing motor on 150

:-)

I was chatting with Dong Sinzheng about it today... all I can say is it sounds very good, and best of all has the four screws to hold the case I asked for

Also heard some good ideas for cases, talk about pimp

Can some post a pic of a extreme stock esc next to a 120a. Just want to get an idea of the foot print of the new esc. I shoe horned the 60a into my losi 22 running mid. I would love a smaller HW esc.

Thanks

Any one have a idea what software to run in an offroad buggy 17.5? 8.5 4wd durango. I know this is a onroad forum. This is more active then the offroad.

Hi Guys

I want your feedback about something important ok please as much feedback as you guys can give me would be appreciated or ideas.

I was in discussions with our team at the shanghai hobby exhibition about some changes in product in the hobbywing xerun series .

My idea was to retire the 60 amp xerun and have the xtreme stock as it replacement thus giving you the same specs ,newer more efficient mosfets and different heatsink like the v3 will have .So Having the v3 as the 120 amp and the xtreme stock as the 60amp under the new v3 label with new software and more finer adjustments.

Some of the other team members had the idea of retiring the xtreme stock and staying with the 60 amp xerun .

what do you guys think ?

regards Angelo

The Xtreme is an awesome little speedie, ran it for well over a year in 10.5 TC, no fan, settings maxxed out and it ran like a dream.
You would have to be mad to kill it off, and keep the massive 60 amper.

Seconded, keep the Xtreme Stock, its AWESOME! Somehow I'm thinking that it has got better quality mosfet as compared to the XERun 60A ESC...I might be wrong, but I love the footprint of the Xtreme Stock, and its power too! The 60A XERun is too bulky...

What is their reason for choosing to keep the xerun instead of the xtremestock? If they're both 60A I don't see why you would retire the unit with the smaller footprint and keep the bulkier one.
