With the 119 (or 1224), you can easily Over time the motor, and it sounds like this is what you have done. Try upgrading back to the 119 software, and then start very conservative on the timing. We do know that step #54 Boost is 36 deg of timing. (Confirmed here on Rctech).

Brushless motors will not run properly with more then 60deg of timing, they tend to run slow and make alot of heat.

im asking about the difference because the sp13.5t with any settings under 50 o 55 boost is a donkey, when others with different brand motors are using about 30 to 35 boost leaving them with more turbo setting to play with.
does mean the hw would be the same?any suggestions.

Right the workout maths is right, but that does not mean that the motor stops pulling once all the timing is used up... 13000 RPM would be where no more timing is added but the motor will continue to accelerate, so that's not a right answer there.

I run 50/18 have 200ACC and start at 2000RPM the elogger logs my max RPM on a 13.5 at 45000 using your maths my car would only be doing 12000 RPM as the boost stops this plainly is NOT the case so please lets get some correct facts / maths on here.

wait a minute. The boost (timing) and turbo (additional timing, with 'boost' as preliminary) are indicated in steps and not in degrees?

Can someone define how much 1 step represent in degrees? Thanks

If it's linear then 1 step = 0.66 degrees and 1 degree = 1.5 steps.

Is it just me or has battery usage been dropped dramatically with the new software? Right now I'm only using 1.4A per 5min race with my 17.5t as I remember using at least 2A with the old firmwares.

false!

true is 1 = 1°

break through from angelo manual
"with the precision of 1 degree steps."

We have already gone through this before. As of right now, the last FW version that is available 0119 uses steps, and not actual degrees. Angelo previously in this forum apologized that the current manual created confusion, and does not actually represent the current FW accurately.
The last released FW to use degrees is 1224.

Cheers,
Shawn.

Ps. Besides, I am running 0119 with 15deg Endbell, 60 Boost, 20 Turbo. 95 Deg? My motor would be running backwards.

Great, bringing up FW that isnt released yet. Lets keep our discussions to FW that has been publically released shall we?

Shawn.

Angelo has already stated that the information was wrong and the the new instructions have been 'Pulled'.
